Does shark sleep? Is it true they must keep swimming to stay alive?

Effort will lead you somewhere, but more than somewhere we need to know where we are and where do want to go, to set the direction.
#Fact. Did you know that contrary to believe sharks do sleep? Because sharks have no eyelids, scientists thought during many years that they did not, but their brain waves say otherwise.
Should we keep moving to get somewhere?
One of the interview questions Elon Musk likes to ask, according to Elon Musk’s biography written by Ashlee Vance, is the following:
You’re standing on the surface of Earth. You walk one mile south, one mile west, and one mile north. You end up exactly where you started. Where are you?.
Why am I citing that sharks have no eyelids and that they keep moving to stay alive? It adds with the riddle of Mr. Musk. In summary, as much as we walk south, west, north, we may end up in the same spot. So we need to adjust where we are and where we want to go.
